Amy Yerdon is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Program Director for the University of Alabama at Birmingham Nurse Anesthesia Program. She has many years of experience providing anesthesia in a busy, high-acuity OR in a level-1 trauma center, managing quality improvement projects, and teaching in the clinical setting. While maintaining her clinical practice, Amy's passions include major abdominal surgery, intraoperative hemodynamic management and goal-directed therapy, substance use disorder, and clinical preceptor education.
