Linda Stone DNP, CRNA has been involved in peer assistance and support for CRNAs and SRNAs with SUD and other wellness-related issues since 2008 at the state and national levels when she became the NC State Peer Advisor (SPA) as well as an AANA Peer Assistance Advisor (AANA PAAC). Dr. Stone graduated from the Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia/UNC Greensboro in 1993 with an MSN/certificate in nurse anesthesia practice. She practiced clinically full-time for many years serving as a clinical site coordinator for nurse anesthesia students and as the Assistant Chief CRNA where she observed many wellness-related issues affecting CRNAs and SRNAs including burnout, SUD, and second victim phenomenon. Dr. Stone began working in nurse anesthesia education in 2007 and is currently the Program Administrator for the UNC Greensboro DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program.
