Zohn Centimole Ph.D., CRNA is an assistant professor and the assistant director of Kentucky’s newest Nurse Anesthesia program in the University of Louisville’s School of Nursing. He has been a nurse anesthesia educator for five years and a practicing CRNA for 18 years. His clinical practice spans from outpatient, remote anesthetics, to major trauma resuscitations, as well as, a large volume of complex cancer care.
His clinical practice has exposed him to a wide variety of airway maladies, including airway tumors, airway trauma, and acquired conditions such as tracheal stenosis. His research on individualized, customized, anesthesia strategies to optimize patient outcomes in vulnerable individuals has appeared in the AANA Journal & the Journal of Perianesthesia Nursing. He has presented on the national, regional, state, and departmental levels.
Dr. Centimole is a volunteer anesthesia provider for the Surgery on Sunday, LLC program in Lexington, KY. He is also a peer reviewer for the Journal of Perianesthesia Nursing. Dr. Centimole has been a member of the NBCRNA Continued Professional Certification Assessment (CPCA) Practice Subcommittee since 2018 and is currently the chair of that committee.
