Anxiety and mental health issues have significantly increased in the obstetric population during the pandemic. Disparities are evident in these numbers. CRNAs are frequently on the front lines of obstetric anesthesia care. Protocolized care has been shown to mitigate these disparities. This presentation reviews these topics then demonstrates easy evidence-based techniques to incorporate into the providers toolbox. These tools will help alleviate trauma and anxiety during care for every patient and provide a universal standard for the provider.
