Crisis Management On-Demand: Let’s Record a Podcast! (1 Class A CE)

Perioperative crises can happen during anesthesia. However, they are infrequent and can sometimes subtly manifest. It is therefore necessary for anesthesia providers to review and update themselves with modern crisis management strategies. The use of operating room crisis checklists and anesthesia podcasts are two educational tools that can help the anesthesia provider review crisis management techniques, stay current on research and best practices, and respond quickly and effectively during a perioperative crisis. This presentation will allow the learner to review how to effectively use an operating room crisis checklist and be a part of a live recorded anesthesia podcast.
