Not My Patients! A Real-World Study of Intraoperative Hypotension in Non-academic Anesthesia Practice Settings (1 Class A CE)

Intraoperative hypotension occurs more commonly than many anesthesia clinicians realize. Join this session to learn about a recent study conducted by two large national anesthesia groups exploring rates of IOH among a noncardiac, community based anesthesia practice cohort. The characteristics of this cohort are similar to the majority of anesthesia delivered in the US, consisting mainly of ASA 2 or 3, low to moderate risk patients with a surgery duration of 1- 2 hours and delivered in a community based setting.
